DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 2 from 9 – 3 pm\, we are partnering with the American Red Cross to host our 13th annual community blood drive. \nIf you are able to donate\, schedule your life-saving appointment at redcrossblood.org/give. \nFind a Drive\, enter: WhittierSDA OR call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) \n\nPicture ID required.\nWhole blood donors must be 16 and over\, at least 110 lbs.\nPower Red donors:  Males must be at least 17 years old\, 5’1″ tall and weigh at least 130 lbs.  Females must be at least 19 years old\, 5’5″ tall and weigh at least 150 lbs\nComplete your RapidPass– health questions before your appointment.\nWalk-ins are welcome.\n\nIf you have questions about eligibility\, refer to the FAQ page. \nNothing beats giving…except getting. Every blood donor gets a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice and/or merchandise. \nEven if you are unable to donate\, there are still ways you can help. \nVolunteers are always needed to make a drive successful (e.g. check in/registration\, set up/break down\, snack table). If you would like to volunteer reply to this email\, call\, or text (562)758-2108. \nWe hope you come out to donate and encourage your friends and family to do so as well. Thank you for helping us to impact lives within our community. \n
